Brunel supports student mobility with funds donated by Santander, Turing Scheme support and funds from donors, however we are committed to expanding these funds over 100% in the coming year.

With your help, we provide funding to support a wide range of educational or work-based overseas activities. Brunel students that apply, and are assessed through an application form, receive support to undertake study, volunteering or work experience overseas.
Why are donations necessary?
When compared to students who don't complete a placement, students who go abroad are 9% more likely to gain a 1st or 2:1 degree and 24% less likely to be unemployed. Those in work six months on from graduation are 9% more likely to be in a 'graduate' job earning, on average, a 5% wage premium. These effects increase when considering students from backgrounds underrepresented in HE.
